T.A.C.T Program

The T.A.C.T. (Teens Addressing the Community Today) Program is an auxiliary arm of Youth Y.A.H.O.O. Inc. which is a job readiness program designed to provide teens with education, job skills and career development training. Work focuses on addressing community needs and team projects may include; neighborhood clean-up projects, senior housing assistance, trail construction, habitat restoration, community revitalization projects, agricultural programs, organizing community building events and mixed media projects. The program combines on the job work experience, environmental education, safety education and career development training. Our Teens will develop good work habits, strong team building and communication skills, as well as learning a sound cultural awareness of the environment and their communities.
